The Eastern Quoll, once widespread across mainland Australia, now survives only in Tasmania’s grasslands and forests. This small, spotted carnivorous marsupial is both a skilled hunter and scavenger, playing a vital role in balancing ecosystems. Sadly, it is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, with populations declining due to introduced predators like foxes and cats, as well as ongoing habitat loss. This design captures the quoll’s delicate but determined form in bold linocut style, with the conservation status highlighted as a reminder of how fragile survival can be. It’s a tribute to one of Australia’s most charismatic nocturnal mammals—and a call to ensure it doesn’t vanish from the wild like so many of its relatives.
