The Reticulated Giraffe, with its tall stature and striking network of white-lined patches, is one of Africa’s most iconic animals and a true giant of the savanna. Found mainly in northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia, this subspecies is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, with populations reduced by habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. Today, fewer than 16,000 are estimated to remain in the wild, making conservation efforts vital for their survival. This design captures the giraffe’s elegant silhouette in bold linocut style, with the conservation status highlighted to emphasize how close we are to losing this symbol of Africa’s wild beauty.
